And especially, what the future will have in store for us. We are at the beginning of an exponential growth of multiple technologies. Technologies which are converging and will disrupt the fields of energy and mobility as we know it. Our society even. However, with every disruption comes great opportunity.

Speakers during the Future of Energy X Mobility Event:

Arash Aazami - Future of Energy
Arash Aazami is an entrepreneur, system innovator and free thinker. He became director of an energy supplier, developed radically different business models and founded the world’s first “energy independence company” in 2010. He gained international attention when his work was awarded by MIT in 2014. In 2015 Arash founded Kamangir, a company designing future energy systems, developing long-term visions, strategies and disruptive innovations for generations to come.

Maarten Steinbuch - Future of Robotics
Maarten Steinbuch (1960) is Distinguished University Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology. He received the M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. Degree from Delft University of Technology, in 1984 and 1989 resp. From 1987-1998 he was with Philips Research Labs., Eindhoven as a Member of the Scientific Staff. From 1998-1999 he was manager of the Dynamics and Control group at Philips Center for Manufacturing Technology. Read more >>

Carlo van de Weijer - Future of Mobility
Carlo van de Weijer (1966) has a Master degree in Mechanical Engineer from the TU Eindhoven and a PhD degree with honors from Technical University in Graz. He carries a broad experience in automotive industry with a.o. executive positions at Siemens and TomTom. Currently he is director of the Strategic Area Smart Mobility at Eindhoven University of Technology, alongside his work for TomTom. He advises ministries and industry around the world on the future of mobility and is member of the supervisory board of several high-tech companies and start-ups.

Jim Stolze - Moderator
Jim Stolze is the founder of Aigency, a platform that enables Artificial Intelligence experiments for corporates, using algorithms and software created by PHD's, hackers and startups.
