With 440 manufacturing companies with almost 7,000 jobs, the Kempen is the workplace of Brainport. In order to provide all these companies with well-trained employees in the future, business, education and other organizations form together KempenTech.
Since 2021, young people in the Kempen, from primary school onwards, have been able to become inspired with various technical fields. Thanks to new, free of charge workshops of KempenTech. From electrical engineering and metalworking to construction, programming and mechatronics, KempenTech brings it into the classroom. The classes can also join for a company visit.
Entrepreneurs from the Brabantse Kempen want to make young people extra enthusiastic about technology during the DTW. Schools participate in the online DTW program. With inspiration from companies of their own surroundings, they will be working on the Brainport-workshops. There is also a Meet & Match event, in which students from secondary education, teachers and entrepreneurs, discuss technology in the Kempen together. There will be a pitch by an innovative entrepreneur of the Kempen.
In addition, entrepreneurs follow the central DTW programs and join the talk show on Monday.
